Star was the first mother to
give birth. The family who had taken in the 5 bunnies from animal control
came out to check on them one morning and found babies scattered around the
yard! Once it was determined Star was the mother she was reunitied with
her babies and taken into foster care. Star gave birth to 5 babies on
8/28/98. Three survived, 2 boys and a girl. Click

Star is a lively, bright young mother with lots of energy. She is very friendly and loves attention. She loves to get into things and explore. She has managed to pull anything within 6 inches of her pen through the bars - including papers, photos, clothing, blankets, etc - whatever she could reach which drove her foster mom crazy trying to keep a buffer zone around the pen. Star loves to run the Bunny 500 on my bed and over the stuffed animals. She is very agile and quick. She also like to sleep in the dresser. Two of Star's babies take right after her. The daughter Molly (all black) has been an escape artist since before she could open her eyes. She and her white and brown brother Flip are very bouncy & adventurous. Their brother Monty (all black) is low-key, calm, but very friendly. They all need
good indoor homes - that includes Momma too!
