Dorian and Pauline

We adopted Dorian, a 3 lb. white dwarf, in March 2006 as a buddy for our rabbit, Eve.  In October 2007, Eve passed away very suddenly.  Dorian definitely missed his friend!  We were all sad, but  after some time, we decided adopt from HRN again.  This past November, Dorian went on some "dates" and showed an interest in Pauline, a pink-eyed white bunny from the Fitchburg rescue.

Dorian and Pauline had some difficulties during the bonding process due to their "strong" personalities.  Now, they are the best of friends.  During the day time, they cuddle in their 3-level bunny condo, not even wanting to come out if I open their door.  In the evenings, they have ample time for running around our apartment.

Dorian is quite the beggar and tries to eat anything we are eating (we don't let him).  He has learned to come when we call his name from across the apartment!  He is such a smart little bun!  He has really turned into the perfect bunny...which is amazing considering his original problems with aggression.

Pauline has also blossomed in the few months she has been with us. Though still a bit shy, she has recently learned that the tile surface of the kitchen floor is not so bad.  For a bigger bun, she does impressive binkies.  She likes to play "hide under the blanket" and enjoys long petting sessions given by her human "slaves."

Thanks so much, HRN, for making our dreams of sharing our home with two wonderful white bunnies come true.  We are so happy that Dorian and Pauline are part of our lives.
