Here is a picture of Gretchen and Cricket, obviously loving each other. Cricket is on the left; Gretchen is on the right. I didn't change her name because she already knew it, and although it took these guys several weeks to bond, they're now inseparable! She's still skittish when it comes to people, so I give her a lot of room, and she's free to float around the house with him all day. She's starting to do some bunny binkies, and I know she's happy here. I don't know what her former situation was, but it wasn't good. Cricket also didn't have it easy -- he was found wandering the streets of Brighton by a co-worker's neighbor kids, and they saved him from cats. He only weighed 14 ounces! So, these two lonely hearts have each other now, and will live the rest of their lives in comfort and with much love. |
