Henry and Fiona are doing great in their new home. They fit in fine here at the Hylan home. They have a large play space blocked off with a fence in my room. Here, they are able to run around all the time. For about an hour a day, I will let them out so they are able to run around my room. Though it has been very hard to move or removal all of the electrical cords, I do daily. The rabbits love to run around and hide in the cardboard boxes I have given them. I cut several holes in the boxes to act as doors, but the rabbits have added many more!
We have also found out that Fiona is a very good high jumper! When we first got the rabbits, we purchased a 3 foot high fence that blocked off their area from the rest of the house. During the night, Fiona would jump over the gate and hop into bed with me or sit under my bed for hours. This is when she got in some great chewing! I went through many magazines then! For the first few months, I had a hard time figuring out how she would get out of her area. After I witnessed her amazing jumping, we quickly bought a new gate that is so high, I can't even get over it. Henry and Fiona now only get out when I let them out!
