Here is an update on Sharmin and Cotton, whom I adopted a few months ago. The girls are doing great and we really adore them. They're very fun buns! They're great company and quite adventurous. Being my first buns, I can't believe how much personality they've got! We've had a few ups and downs with Sharmin but she's doing good now. She's missing her rear left foot [assumingly from birth which doesn't slow her down a bit :) ] but this does seem to be resulting in some trouble with waxy buildup in her ear. Not sure yet if it's due to her inability to clean it or something else. We're working close with our vet to help her out. Since bringing the girls home, I've been in touch with several HRN members. I met a few when we were visiting the adoptees and a few more people at Tufts Open House and Pet Rock. Everyone has been wonderful! I think the work that HRN does is great and I'm glad to help out. I look forward to the next newsletter!
