 Tuxedo has been living with me for about nine months now and has adjusted wonderfully to life in our home. He was at first timid about exploring outside of his cage but has now learned that he has free range in a completely bunny-proofed apartment. With each passing month more and more of his personality begins to shine. He takes walks on a leash at the park where he digs holes and binkies. At home, he greets us at the door, chases and follows us under foot, sits on our lap and gets rubbed, and plays "soccer" with us using cat toys. He has turned out to be a very expressive and exceedingly trusting boy who is not skiddish or shy of his human companions at all, in fact he's rather adventuresome and has even ridden with me in the cabin of a plane to go to Florida for a vacation. He loves his hay box and fresh greens and likes to try and supplement his diet with important documents. More than once I have lost important pieces of mail only to discover that he has dragged them under a piece of furniture as a toy. |
