Keep Your Buns Warm This WinterFor Immediate ReleaseThe House Rabbit Network urges you to keep your buns warm this winter by bringing your bunnies inside. An outdoor hutch is not an appropriate house to accommodate your bunnies' mental and physical needs, but this is especially true in the winter. Rabbits simply cannot tolerate the cold, and many die each year from freezing to death on cold, lonely, winter nights. Bringing your bunny inside your home, not your garage, where it will inhale toxic fumes from your car, is the best option. Rabbits are easily trainable to use a litterbox. Once they are litterbox trained and your home is rabbit proofed, the bunny can even have the doors to its cage opened into your home. It is inside the home where you will see your bunny's personality shine, see her unique characteristics, and special charm. You will see the happy bunny dances, hops, skips, and jumps. You will see the contented bunny "flops" and hear the soft purrs. All this that would be missed while the bunny was left alone in an outdoor hutch. The House Rabbit Network has dozens of bunnies up for adoption, from all shapes, breeds, sizes, and ages. They are all spayed or neutered and many are litterbox trained.
