House Rabbit Network Celebrates 5th Year

For Immediate Release
November 16, 2005

In celebration of their 5th year, the House Rabbit Network is reminding everyone that they have dozens of rabbits of all shapes, sizes, and breeds, in singles, pairs, and trios, for adoption. Who is the House Rabbit Network?

The House Rabbit Network is an organization formed with two primary purposes: To rescue homeless rabbits and find them good indoor homes and also to educate the public about rabbits and their care. These activities may include:

  • providing foster care for discarded domestic rabbits and arranging for adoption to permanent indoor homes;
  • assisting humane societies and shelters with rabbits;
  • providing spay/neuter surgery and veterinary care through arrangements with area practitioners;
  • rehabilitating and socializing mistreated or neglected animals;
  • permanently caring for animals who cannot be placed in adoptive homes due to serious health or behavioral problems;
  • and educating the public on responsible pet ownership and humane practices.

The House Rabbit Network is a 501© 3 non-profit all volunteer organization, with a network of foster homes celebrating our 5th year. In addition to loving, indoor homes, HRN can always use donations of money and supplies as well as more volunteers! To find out more, please go to our website at www.rabbitnetwork.org
