House Rabbit Network Rescues 32 Rabbits

For Immediate Release

WOBURN, MA, January 26, 2007 -This week the House Rabbit Network rescued 32 rabbits that were confiscated by Fitchburg Animal Control. The rabbits were being kept outdoors and were breeding. HRN was only given 48 hours notice and quickly responded, pulling the rabbits to safety. Two other rescue groups are taking some of the rabbits, and HRN is actively seeking donations and prospective homes for the remaining bunnies. Anyone interested in adopting a rabbit is encouraged to visit HRN's website at www.rabbitnetwork.org. Only indoor homes will be considered, and all rabbits are fixed before adoption.

The House Rabbit Network is a Massachusetts-based 501 ©3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization. We are dedicated to saving and adopting out unwanted bunnies and educating the public about rabbits. We can always use more volunteers! Donations of any amount are always welcome and are used to support our efforts to find loving, forever homes for each and every bunny. Thank you for your continued support.
