HRN Board Meeting (virtual)

February 25, 2025

Attendance: Bonnie Courtemanche, Sharon Dennehy, Pam Chatis,  Rachel Minnie, Suzanne Trayhan, Rich Whelan 

 

  • Meeting Minutes

    • December Minutes approved

  • Quarterly Report Reviewed

    • MAC Grant submitted, expect to hear around April 1; requested more $ this year because we ran out last year

  • Altercation between shelter employees

    • Board agreed on interim separation/non-communication between the two employees

    • Rachel and Rich will meet with each of them to get their individual accounts of what happened

    • Sessions will be recorded and subsequently destroyed

    • Bonnie gave names of the construction company contacts to determine if anyone overheard anything

    • They will be directed to only communicate re: work-related topics via email with Suzanne copied

    • Board to reconvene in a special session to determine next steps: March 11, 7pm

  • Dawn Lewis’ email to the board and request to participate as a groomer at Spa Day

    • Responding to Dawn about her room naming request will be tabled until next board meeting. 

    • Action: Bonnie to discuss with Dawn social media posts and volunteer expectations
