Hoppy Holidays Scavenger Hunt
House Rabbit Network will be offering our first online “Hoppy Holidays Scavenger Hunt” the weekend of December 12-13! This will be a virtual event: Gather your friends and play along for bragging rights! $25 to play (please note that you’ll need a smart phone or friend with a smart phone to download the application). All proceeds will benefit House Rabbit Network. We’re working on some fun merchandise and planning for other goodies to make this a hoppin’ good time! You won’t want to miss out!
How it works: The game takes two hours to play. You can choose when you want to play any time over the December 12-13 weekend. When you are ready, simply sign into the app! You will be given your instructions and you have two hours to complete them. People will be posting pictures and laughing at our results.

More Details:Starting 12/10/2020 Dawn will be emailing people who have signed up UNIQUE CODES to play. If you want to play with a partner and will be using one phone, it isn’t necessary to pay for two people. However, each entry gets you an exclusive decal, a chance to win a prize, and is a donation to the buns! Your code email from me will arrive from dawn@rabbitnetwork.org. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
Once you have the code, download the Let’s Roam app FREE from the App store on your smartphone. Enter your code to play BUT DO NOT START THE HUNT YET. You can make a team if you choose to or join a friend’s team. Tomorrow we’ll finalize teams to join- it’s up to you if you want to join a team. This is all for fun- you’ll still be able to win a prize even if you aren’t on a team. Please know that if you’re part of a team working remotely you’ll need to message/call each other outside of the app to work on the hunt. You can even do it on Zoom, Google Meet or use a second phone to Skype/Facetime to work together (you decide). Many of the challenges are written for teams- but even if you’re working with a team we know you are remote and won’t require team photos/proof of teamwork. You can have one person on your team submit and it will count!
Pick a two-hour window to start. You do not have to report to us when you are starting- we’ll see it on the app. If you’re working as a team, pick a time for your team to start. Everyone on the team needs to work in the same window. If you are working alone, pick a time that works for you. Everyone has two hours from the time they begin to complete the hunt! AGAIN, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT START THE HUNT UNTIL 12:01 am on 12/12/2020. The hunt runs Saturday and Sunday all day. We’ll be snagging uploaded entries from the app to share on social media. Shared entries means everyone involved in the entry gets 5 additional chances to win during the final 3 drawings!
Challenges/Questions: What to expect! There are rabbit-centric questions- questions about HRN, and lots of holiday fun! An example of a challenge might be: “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is a holiday classic. Have someone from your team dress in a bathroom and take a video reciting their favorite line from Cousin Eddie.” OR trivia “Which one of the following is NOT one of Santa’s reindeer: a) Blitzen b) Comet c) Buttons d) Dasher.” All of the challenges are ranked in points by “how hard” they are- remember the person/team with the most points gets extra chances to win in the final drawings!
