This beloved tradition is a chance for our community to come together, share stories from the year (and of course, about our bunnies!), and celebrate the incredible volunteers who make our mission possible with fun awards!
We’ll gather under the pavilion at Nara Park in Acton for a relaxed potluck picnic – please bring a dish to share! This casual, festive event is always a highlight of the summer, and we’d love to see you there.

Join House Rabbit Network for the next session in our monthly education series, designed to help rabbit lovers of all experience levels deepen their knowledge of bunny care—while supporting HRN’s rescue efforts!
This month, we’re diving into Bonding Basics—one of the most rewarding (and sometimes tricky!) parts of life with bunnies. Whether you’re introducing a new rabbit to your current bun or just curious about the process, this class will cover:
– How to know if your rabbit is ready for a friend
– Common bonding methods and setups
– Reading bunny body language and avoiding conflict
– Troubleshooting when things get tense
Led by an experienced HRN team member, this 60-minute live session includes a Q&A, so bring your bonding questions!

All proceeds go directly to caring for the rabbits in HRN’s shelter and foster homes.

House Rabbit Network’s 2nd Annual Run for the Buns 5k!
Join HRN on Saturday October 18, 2024 for a Run for the Buns! You can make a team or join as a participant to run or walk our course. (We are also hoping our friends from further away can join us virtually). 100% of the proceeds go to us – your local rabbit rescue & education hub. By raising money for our organization, you are allowing us to rescue more bunnies, find them loving homes, and support the public in bunny ownership.
After-party to follow at Craft Food Halls with robust & exciting sweepstakes, music & family entertainment, and great food to purchase from Craft Food Halls! Each entry comes with a complimentary drink.
