HRN Board Meeting (virtual)

Attendance: Bonnie Courtemanche, Sharon Dennehy, Pam Chatis, Rachel Minnie, Suzanne Trayhan, Nikki LaRoche, Rich Whelan (joined at 7:40)
- Meeting Minutes
- August Minutes approved
- Grooming incident and letter from volunteer.
- Board reviewed the situation and agreed the volunteer should no longer be allowed to groom at HRN events
- In addition, Bonnie and Dawn are working with Suzanne to develop a revised protocol that may consider: refresher training for groomers, process for initial assessment of the rabbit and skin condition before grooming begins and criteria for recommending a vet appointment if our standard spa appointment services are unlikely to be adequate. Waiver will also be revisited to ensure the language is still adequate.
- Raises for 2025
- Action: Suzanne to put together a proposal for raises; likely a minimum of 3.5%
- Bonus
- 1 week’s pay minimum; Action: Suzanne to propose exact amount
- Health Insurance
- Health insurance was provided for Lauren. Jessica declined because she has it through her spouse.
- Action: Suzanne to propose an amount for a stipend to provide Jessica.
- Quarterly Report (details in quarterly report. Additional meeting discussion highlights here)
- Action: Suzanne to share October financials via email
Interim board meeting scheduled for December 17th at 7pm to review Raises/Bonus proposal
